Navigating the Chaos of a Feral Tornado

Feral. That's the only word that comes close to describing Brantley's recent antics.

Today, as we were let into Brantley’s school, he slipped out of my grasp and sprinted straight to the table where teachers' lunches awaited. The casualties? A large soda and a bag of Taco Bell, courtesy of my little tornado.

This whole ordeal perfectly sums up the whirlwind that has become my life lately—constantly chasing after Brantley, tidying up after his havoc, and apologizing for his wild shenanigans. It's like we're stuck in a perpetual game of cat and mouse, except the mouse has superpowers.

As parents, especially of special needs kids, sometimes all we can do is throw our hands up, admit defeat, and hope for a moment of peace in the chaos.

But hey, tomorrow's another day, right? Here's to hoping it's a tad less chaotic than today, yesterday or the day before that.
