Here in Ohio, the hype for the eclipse is real. Everyone's gearing up with their fancy glasses and DIY pinhole projectors, ready to catch a glimpse of this once-in-a-lifetime event.

But while the world prepares to gaze skyward, Brantley is facing a cosmic conundrum. You see, Brantley has a fierce aversion to anything on his head.

Now, I'm no psychic, but I'm pretty sure those eclipse glasses won't be making their way onto my blonde haired boy’s noggin anytime soon. Brantley’s deep-seated headgear hatred is as solid as a rock.

With no way to protect those pensive blue eyes, Brantley will ride out the eclipse inside to avoid the risk of him looking directly at the sun. Thankfully, the nightly arrival of darkness ensures he won’t miss the celestial spectacle of the sky turning dark entirely – just a bit of magic as it happens during the middle of the day. #autismlife #autismfamily #eclipse
